Taking Care of Acne Prone Skin

Most people with acne become involved with "degreasing" and "drying" processes. Many use products ranging from harsh soaps and medicated (drying) cosmetics to antibiotics.

We have discovered that intense drying of the skin has only a short term benefit. Most often it becomes a vicious cycle - temporary improvement and then the problems reoccur in a few weeks. The person begins the intense drying procedure again, some improvement but then sebum gets trapped in the pores and the process starts all over again.

RS2 Camphor Souffle

RS2 Camphor Soufflé is a powerful pH balanced facial cleanser recommended for normal to oily and problem skin. It is highly effective on blemished skin. It instantly softens the tap water, dissolving the heavy sebum which usually clogs blemished pores.

Directions: Use twice daily, massage onto the skin and rinse with tepid water. Follow with Camphor or Menthol Astringent (for oily skin) or Blemish Control Astringent, Eucalyptus AHA Toner and Bio-Drying Lotion (on blemished skin), then Vitamin B day cream or Azulen day cream or other cream suitable for skin type.

Caution: Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed.

RS2 Menthol Astringent Toner

RS2 Menthol Astringent is an effective astringent and toner for normal to oily, and combination skin. It helps to fight bacteria. We highly recommend this for skin having partial oiliness and a tendency to break out.

Directions: Apply with cotton several times daily after cleansing and before applying day cream or make-up.

RS2 Bio Drying Lotion

RS2 Bio-Drying Lotion is an excellent skin care treatment for blemished skin. It helps to dry up blemishes, reduce tissue redness, irritation and helps to prevent growth of the blemish. Recommended to use together with Camphor Soufflé, Camphor Astringent or Blemish Control Astringent.

Directions: Shake well; apply only to the blemish (with a cotton swab) several times a day as needed.

Caution: Apply only to the blemish. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed.

Oily skin is prone to blackheads, breakouts, and large pores, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin areas). When sweat glands produce too much oil, pores become clogged with a mixture of sebum and dead skin cells. Accumulated sebum contains propionic acid bacteria, which is released into the tissue causing an inflammatory reaction.

RS2 Blemish Control Gel reduces shine, absorbs moisture and perspiration, providing a long lasting smooth and non greasy matte finish. Encapsulated Tea Tree oil combines anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory activities, while micro-sponge technology helps to absorb excess oil and assists with time released delivery of multi-hydroxy acids for gentle exfoliation. These processes help to prevent cell build up and clogged pores, while Vitamin B Complex (Yeast Extract) helps to regulate oil gland secretion.

Directions: Apply to the face twice daily prior to application of moisturizer or make up. Repeated use helps to reduce oiliness, skin problems, and fine lines.

Caution: Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Use of sun protection is required when using this product. Some users of this product may experience a mild transient stinging or may incur a mild skin irritation. If irritation becomes severe, discontinue use and consult your skin care professional. Do not use on skin that is irritated from the sun, extreme cold, peeling, waxing, or electrolysis. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed.
