You know that newer specialties do not offer glycolics's exfoliating action nor do they increase the rate at which younger, fresher cells reach the skin surface. With the use of Glycolic Polymer, fresher cells on the skin surface react better to allied products (such as hydrating, firming, or antioxidant items.)

But how does the Polymer improve skin structure?

In our glycolic line of treatments, other than the cleanser and toner, the products contain the polymer form of glycolic acid and not the standard glycolic extract used by other products. This means the glycolic extract is linked into strands or long chains; instead of individual glycolic molecules.

The strands (polymer) penetrate to aid skin's natural polymers, which are elastin and collagen, key components of skin structure.

Here's how!

Collagen and elastin are 30% glycine. Our glycolic polymer, besides exfoliation and texturizing, stimulates production of glycine. Thus, adding glycine at the fibroblast level strengthens production of collagen and elastin.

So, by using our 5%, 10%, or 15% Glycolic Creams, under other anti-aging creams, it makes a powerful "layering" partner.

Of course, the Cleanser and Toner are good alternates for either dry, oily, or acne prone skin. The Glycolic Oily Skin Day Cream (5% glycolic polymer) is incredibly effective for oily or blemished skin. It reduces blemish causing bacteria while it helps normalize oily skin and helps prevent future breakouts. It can be used alone or under makeup.

The Hand/Body Lotion (10% glycolic acid) offers exfoliating action with deeper texturizing benefits. It is ideal for damaged skin.

Exfoliation & Cell Renewal for Mature Skin

RS2's advanced formula links glycolic acid molecules into polymers - strands similar to the skin's own structure. Thus, there is maximum interaction with the skin to improve texture and helps fight sun damage. Also, since the glycolic molecule is smaller than those of the other alpha hydroxyl acids, it is absorbed more easily; an important factor in performance. Glycolic Acid Cream contains an advanced glycolic acid, in a natural (no mineral oil) base and this base is supported by complex botanical extracts.

The glycolic extracts used in RS2's Glycolic Acid Cream is full strength glycolic crystals, they are 100% pure glycolic extract and not diluted in any way! Your skin will reflect the results of its' exfoliating and texturizing properties.

Directions on using glycolic products:

Test product on underarm before use. Use at night for the first four weeks. Apply the product lightly, leave it on for one minute and then apply moisturizer. After one month of night time applications, you can then begin to apply it in the morning, under your daytime moisturizer.

*If there is a stinging sensation, this is normal. Just apply a light moisturizer or night cream over the Glycolic Acid Cream.

Ingredients of the Glycolic Acid Cream:

Purified water, 5% glycolic acid polymer (extracts of sugar and rhubarb), extracts of pumpkin, peach, sage, comfrey, chamomile, witch hazel, Vitamins A, D, and E, safflower oil, and sunflower oil.
